SACRAMENTO, Jan. 28—As a move to bolster their pitching staff, Sacramento Solons have purchased Ray McNulty from Salem Senators of the Western International Baseball League, General Manager Charles Graham announced tonight.
The 28-year-old McNulty is a resident of Roseville, Calif., and had a trail two years ago with the Portland Beavers as an infielder. He turned to pitching last year and won 14 games and lost nine in the W.I.L.
McNulty is being bought on a conditional basis, Graham said.
