Chiefs Seeking Frankie Dasso
WENATCHEE, March 21—Lil Arnerich, veteran outfielder, has signed a 1952 contract with Wenatchee’s Western International League team, club officials said today.
Signing of two rookie infielders also was reported. They are Norman Ridgeway, 20, and Eugene Sandoval, 18, from California semi-pro ranks.
An official said the club is dickering with Frankie Dasso, right-handed former Pacific Coast League strikeout king. Dasso, a free agent, won 18 games for Modesto last season in the California State League.
