OMAK, Wash., March 26—Manager Dick Adams and an advance squad of five players opened the Wenatchee Western International League club’s spring training here Wednesday.
Veteran infielder Buddy Hjelmaa signed his 1952 contract and joined the group, club officials said.
Wenatchee has scheduled its opening training camp games with the Vancouver Capilanos here and at Penticton, April 5 and 6, business manager George Clark announced.
