Caps Get Tran
SEATTLE, April 27—Seattle Rainiers’ roster was pared down to the 23-player limit with the option of Len Tran to Vancouver of the W.I.L., R.C. Torrence, vice-president of the Coast League club, announced today.
At the same time, Torrence announced the transfer of outfielder Bill Cleveland from Vancouver to Wenatchee. Cleveland, a rookie, was assigned to Vancouver in spring training.

New Pitcher
KENNEWICK, April 27—Another left handed pitcher has reported to the Tri-City Braves. He is George New, a husky youngster sent to the Braves on option from Baltimore.
New is reported to have looked good in spring training against AA and AAA teams. However, the Phils, who own New, apparently feel he needs at last one more season in a lower classification.
