LEWISTON, Idaho, Jan. 31—The Broncs.
That will be the nickname of Lewiston’s entry in the Western International Baseball League this year.
The announcement was made by Marvin Webb of the Lewiston Baseball Club’s board of directors. He was chairman of a committee which selected the name from nearly 200 suggested by tri-state fans.
Two persons submitted the name and offered reasons why it would be fitting. They are Bill Clem and Jerry Dahlgren, both of Lewiston.
