Push For Lewiston

Ball Fans Wants WIL Franchise
LEWISTON, Idaho, Oct. 15—A handful of baseball fans who believe Lewiston wants professional baseball, but needs a shove in that direction, Monday decided to supply the initial push.
The group planned a baseball stock sale which will get underway Wednesday.
It if is successful, Lewiston may be in business in the Western International League next season. It has been offered the Tacoma franchise in the WIL.
A goal of $50,000 was set as the minimum need for capitalizing the Lewiston baseball club.
